Incredible Basement Transformation in Fairfax, VA

In summer of 2017 TYL was contracted to finish this 2000 square-foot basement in Fairfax, Virginia. The homeowners wanted space to excercise, do laundry, work and hang out with family.  TYL delivered. We built-out and waterproofed the basement, then divided it into four rooms. The first, largest, room was converted into a TV room and office space, with plenty of space for the kids to play. Off of the TV room, TYL built a laundry room and spacious bathroom. The laundry room included a washer dryer, cabinets, folding table, and deep free-standing sink. We raised up the sink so that the homeowners would be able to bathe their pets without having to bend over too far and risk hurting their back. The bathroom included an oversized soaking tub and a grandiose walk-in shower with digital control panel, overhead rainshower and body jets. Finally, connecting the bathroom and laundry room was a workout room. In this space, TYL put down special gym flooring so that the homeowners could get a great workout without risking a fall.
