Charity Fire Loss Rebuild

Charity Fire Loss Insurance Restoration Rebuild in Amelia County, VA

09/2020

This insurance restoration rebuild took place in Amelia County, VA and was completed in September of 2020. A kitchen fire started and destroyed most of the home, causing severe interior damage. The homeowners’ insurance policy did not cover the entirety of the damages, so TYL took on the remainder of the cost of the rebuild and added a new HVAC system free of charge as one of our quarterly charity initiative.

We started the project by clearing all the debris from the space. We then completely gutted the interior of the house to the studs. After we had a clean slate inside the home, we started making exterior repairs- rebuilding two exterior walls. We also added new trusses and repaired the roof. Returning to the interior TYL repaired the sub-floor joists and installed the previously mentioned HVAC system. The final touch was the installation of flooring and painting the walls.

With the completion of the rebuild, the homeowners are now back in a comfortable and safe home. TYL was happy to be able to assist them! If you have had experienced an insurance loss, make sure to give TYL a call at 877-895-1044. We are experienced at communicating with insurance adjustors and will ensure that you receive everything that you are entitled to during the restoration process.
