February NewsLetter
A Recent TYL Job
Snow Removal
Did you know that TYL does snow removal? We have contracts with several large properties, and we were excited to put our plows to work on February 1st for the first snowfall of the season. We are not accepting any new snow contracts this season, but if you are interested in having TYL perform snow removal in 2022, give our office a call!
No need for snow removal? TYL can still help with many other winter related worries such as leaky or frozen pipes, ice damming or busted sprinkler lines. We have a 24/7 on-call team of professionals who are ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice.

Team Updates
Congrats to our newest TYL Dad- Matt!

The TYL family is wishing Emily a speedy recovery and we are hoping that these new parents get lots of rest and quality time with their baby in the coming weeks.

Fun and COVID-Conscious Valentine’s Day Date Ideas!

1. A Fun Weekend Getaway
As the saying goes, Virginia is For Lovers. The state has many different beautiful places to explore and right now is the perfect time to do it since rentals are quite cheap! Consider taking a long weekend to the mountains to commune with nature…or spend the whole weekend in a hot-tub, reading a good book…to each their own.

3. Meal Roulette
This is a fun date for those who can never decide on where to eat. You and your partner play rock-paper-scissors for the chance to select where you are going for each course- drinks, appetizers, main and dessert. Then you order each course, pick up the food, bring it home and feast while watching a good movie (rom-com highly suggested).

2. A Surprise Date!
Usually there is one person in every relationship who is the planner or main decision maker. If you notice that one person in your relationship is usually the one who is planning dates, take charge! It can be as simple as “Be ready at 6pm, wear casual clothes!” and taking them to a new restaurant. Or you can step it up a notch by cooking yourself or going on a picnic! It’s always great to switch up relationship dynamics every once in a while.

4. Make a Scrapbook
Cheesy? Yes. Cute as all get out? You betcha. A scrapbook is a great way to commemorate your relationship, plus it’s an inexpensive experience that you both can enjoy. Here’s what you’ll need: a scrapbook, pictures of the both of you, mementos (notes, printouts of cute texts, pictures of places or things you both enjoy, ticket stubs, etc.), glue, scissors, pens and markers. Want to make it over the top mushy-romantic? Before you start crafting, write a love letter to your partner and read it at the end of your crafting session. You can easily turn this into a yearly tradition so that you watch your relationship bloom and grow from year to year!
