TYL’s client, Betsy had been working with TYL for many years as a property manager before beginning to consider the improvements that she wanted to make to her own home. Of course, TYL was the clear choice to remodel her home. Over the next several years, TYL completed several projects in Betsy’s home, including a bathroom remodel, a fireplace refurbishment and, most recently, a deck buildout. Each project came out beautifully.
Bathroom Remodel
This bathroom remodel was simple in nature but even the simplest of changes can completely transform a space. Gray wainscoting was added to add visual interest to the space. A large soaking tub adds a luxurious element to the room.
Stone Fireplace Refurbishment
Next on the docket was a complete overhaul of the fireplace in the main living room. The warm color palette of the original brick fireplace did not complement the gray-green paint of the living room. Our client wanted a cooler and more modern space, so we covered the original brick with faux stone. The finished piece adds a strong geometric element to the space.
Deck Buildout
Our most recent project for this client was a deck buildout. The buildout includes a screened-in sitting room, dining area, lounge space and pergola. One of our favorite details from this project was the Asian inspired paneling found in the sunroom and on the pergola. It really ties the space together and gives a cohesive feeling to the yard.
